ISO 9001:2015 8.1: Operational planning and control
The organization plans, carries out and controls the processes required to meet the requirements for supplying its products and services and to put into effect the actions from clause 6. It does so by identifying the requirements for those products and services; setting criteria both for the processes and for accepting the products and services; identifying the resources required to make them conform; controlling the processes against the criteria; and identifying, keeping and retaining the documented information needed to show conformity and to give confidence the processes ran as planned. The planning output must suit how the organization operates. Planned changes are controlled, the consequences of unplanned changes are reviewed, and outsourced processes are kept under control.
This control maps to 33 controls across 21 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
