ISO 37301:2021 8.1: Operational planning and control
The organization shall plan, implement and control the processes needed to meet requirements and to implement the actions determined in clause 6, by establishing criteria for the processes and implementing control of the processes in accordance with the criteria; enough documented information shall be kept to give confidence that the processes ran as planned. The organization shall control planned changes and review the consequences of unintended changes, taking action to mitigate adverse effects as necessary; ensure externally provided products, processes or services relevant to the CMS are controlled (outsourcing does not remove legal responsibility or the compliance obligations); and ensure third-party processes are controlled and monitored.
This control maps to 27 controls across 18 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
