From a cold start with emergency load at normal operating level, primary power is interrupted at the switches or breakers feeding the building (new and unoccupied buildings and existing occupied buildings have separate routes since 2010), with all EPSS loads served. Recorded: start delay, cranking time, time to operating speed, voltage and frequency overshoot, time to steady state with all switches transferred, voltage, frequency and amperes, oil pressure and water temperature, and retransfer and cooldown delays; the building load test runs at least 1.5 hours with run time recorded. A full load test at the nameplate kW less site derating (load bank permitted, unity power factor allowed if the maker tested at rated power factor), a one-step full load pickup, a cycle crank test, tests of all safeties, simultaneous testing of paralleled sets, and production of prototype evidence, torsional analysis, the compliance letter and the maker's rated load test certificate to the AHJ complete it.
This control maps to 4 controls across 3 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 4 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
