NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems 7.10: 7.10 Exhaust system

Exhaust equipment follows NFPA 37 and is gastight, terminating where fumes cannot re-enter buildings or air intakes; piping connects through a flexible connector and is independently supported, with condensate traps and drains, allowance for expansion, mufflers close to the engine, thimbles through combustible walls, a weather-proof termination, heat clearance from conduit, fuel piping and luminaires, insulation inside buildings, and sizing that avoids excessive back pressure.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

  • 2.2 2.2 Location of generating sets: exhaust, weather, hazardous areas and fuel fire risk
  • 9.89-9.92 Exhaust, noise, operational safety and controlled disposal of consumables

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
