An ATS must operate electrically and hold mechanically, transfer and retransfer automatically, and show not-in-automatic visibly. Undervoltage sensing on every ungrounded phase of the primary source starts the EPS and transfer when any phase falls below load minimums and retransfers when all phases are back within limits for a set time; voltage and frequency sensing on the EPS inhibits transfer until both are acceptable (the sensing may sit in the engine panel). Mechanical interlocking or an approved alternative prevents paralleling the sources, and instructions and equipment allow safe manual nonelectric transfer if the switch fails.
This control maps to 4 controls across 3 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 4 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
