Part 5: dairy food safety scheme (sections 50 to 67) – NSW Food Regulation 2025

NSW Food Regulation 2025 62: Dairy processors and raw milk product makers have product and non-reticulated water samples analysed at their own cost, at Manual or notice frequency

What does 62 require?

At their own expense, licensed dairy processors (and raw milk product manufacturers) must have analysed the dairy (or raw milk) product samples the NSW Food Safety Schemes Manual calls for, and any water used in production that does not come from a reticulated supply. Testing follows the frequency in the Manual unless the Food Authority sets a different frequency or standards by written notice. Maximum penalty 25 penalty units.
