NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems 8.4.2.3: 8.4.2.3 Annual supplemental load test

Diesel sets that cannot meet the monthly loading rule are exercised monthly on the available EPSS load and, once a year, on supplemental load of at least 50 percent of nameplate kW for 30 continuous minutes and then at least 75 percent for one continuous hour, 1.5 continuous hours in all.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 3 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

  • 17.84 Load bank testing with reactive and resistive load where on-load testing is not acceptable
  • 17.87-17.91 Annual 110% load engine condition test of at least three hours with safety chain tests

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
