Chapter 8: Routine maintenance and operational testing – NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems

NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems 8.1.1-8.1.2: 8.1.1 and 8.1.2 Basis of the maintenance and testing programme

The routine maintenance and operational testing programme rests on the manufacturer's recommendations, the instruction manuals, the minimum requirements of Chapter 8 and the AHJ; and a portable or other temporary source is considered for any period the emergency generator is unavailable. Chapter 8 applies to existing systems as well as new ones.
