Chapter 8: Routine maintenance and operational testing – NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems

NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems 8.3.4-8.3.5: Transfer switch and paralleling gear maintenance

Transfer switches and paralleling gear are on a maintenance and testing programme that checks connections, inspects or tests for overheating and excessive contact erosion, removes dust and dirt and replaces contacts when needed. Numbering in the current edition is not held (8.3.5 and 8.3.6 in the 2005 text; records moved to 8.5 from 2016, so these duties sit before 8.3.6 batteries).

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
