The organization makes sure enough information is communicated outside it and is available to interested parties along the food chain, and sets up, runs and maintains effective communication with: external providers and contractors; customers and consumers, covering product information that allows the product to be handled, displayed, stored, prepared, distributed and used safely, hazards that others in the chain or consumers must control, contractual arrangements, enquiries and orders and changes to them, and feedback, complaints included; statutory and regulatory authorities; and other organizations that affect or are affected by the FSMS. Named people hold defined responsibility and authority for communicating food safety information externally. Relevant information received from outside is used as input to management review and when the system is updated. Evidence of external communication is kept as documented information.
This control maps to 9 controls across 6 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 9 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
