The entity must train everyone working in its laboratories, commensurate with their duties, so they understand and can implement the subpart; training may be by instruction before or during an experiment, classroom, electronic or written material, on-the-job training or exams. An LQG entity must keep documentation (sign-in sheets, syllabi, certificates or test results) sufficient to show that laboratory workers were trained, for the durations in 265.16(e). A trained professional must accompany unwanted material and hazardous waste when removed from the laboratory and must make the hazardous waste determination for unwanted material under 262.11(a) to (d).
