EPA RCRA Hazardous Waste Management 262.209: § 262.209 Where and when to make the hazardous waste determination and where to send containers of unwanted material upon removal from the laboratory

For SQG and LQG entities a trained professional must make the 262.11 determination for unwanted material either in the laboratory before removal (262.210), within 4 calendar days of arrival at an on-site central accumulation area (262.211), or within 4 calendar days of arrival at an on-site interim status or permitted TSDF (262.212). For VSQG entities the determination must be made in the laboratory before removal.
