Where the determination is made in the laboratory, a trained professional makes it under 262.11(a) to (d) before removal; hazardous waste must have "hazardous waste" written on the container label before it leaves the laboratory and the waste codes on the associated or attached label before off-site transport, and is counted toward the generator category in the month of the determination. A trained professional must accompany it to an on-site central accumulation area or TSDF. SQG and LQG entities must take it directly to such an area or facility or off site; VSQG entities directly to a 262.14 destination. Once removed it is subject to all applicable hazardous waste rules.
