Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s89-90: ss 89 and 90 No clauses limiting the Division, no reliance on them, and no inducing waiver

The supplier must ensure the agreement contains no provision that excludes or limits the consumer's termination right or the Division's operation, or that sends disputes to a court that would not otherwise hear them, and must not try to enforce or rely on such a void provision (s 89). The consumer cannot waive the Division's rights, and the supplier must not induce or attempt to induce a waiver (s 90).
