Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s73: s 73 Call on consumers only in permitted hours

A dealer must not call on a person to negotiate an unsolicited consumer agreement, or for a related purpose, on a Sunday or public holiday, before 9 am, or after 6 pm (after 5 pm on a Saturday), unless the person gave consent to the call other than in the dealer's presence. The supplier is also taken to contravene when a dealer acting for it does (s 77).
