Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s74: s 74 Disclose purpose, right to ask the dealer to leave, and identity before negotiating

Before starting to negotiate, and as soon as practicable, a dealer calling on a person must clearly tell the person that the purpose is to seek agreement to a supply of the goods or services concerned, clearly tell them the dealer must leave immediately on request, and give the prescribed identity information: reg 82 requires the dealer's name, the dealer's address if the dealer is the supplier, and otherwise the supplier's name and street address (not a post office box).
