Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s79: s 79 Ensure every unsolicited consumer agreement or agreement document meets the content and form requirements

The supplier must ensure the agreement (or agreement document for phone sales): sets out all terms, including the total consideration or how it is calculated and any postal or delivery charges; carries on its front page a conspicuous and prominent notice of the right to terminate with the prescribed text (reg 85: 'Important Notice to the Consumer', the right to cancel within 10 business days from and including the day after signing or receiving the agreement, and that details of additional cancellation rights are attached), signed and dated by the consumer on the front page (reg 86); is accompanied by a termination notice form in the approved form (reg 87); sets out conspicuously the supplier's name, ABN or ACN, business street address, and email and fax if any; is printed clearly or typewritten; and is transparent.
