Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s87-88: ss 87 and 88 Refund later payments and take no recovery or default-listing action after termination

After termination the supplier must immediately refund any payment made to it that purports to be under the agreement or a related contract (s 87). No person may bring or threaten legal proceedings or other action, place or threaten to place the consumer on a list of defaulters or debtors, to recover an amount said to be payable under the terminated agreement, except to enforce the consumer's liability for lack of reasonable care or for services already supplied after the 10 business day period (s 88).
