Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r510-2: r 510(2) A designer must not act as verifier of their own design

A person involved in preparing a plant design is barred from knowingly serving as the design verifier for that design. The prohibition protects the independence of the verification statement. Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units for an individual and 500 for a body corporate.
