Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r510-1: r 510(1) Use an independent, competent design verifier for post-1995 designs

An applicant registering a plant design whose design work began from 1 July 1995 onward has to ensure the design verification statement is made by a verifier who took no part in preparing the design, has the skill and knowledge to verify it, and has checked it against the technical standards or engineering principles the designer recorded under r 84. Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units (individual), 500 (body corporate).
