After any service the licensee completes a service tag in detail showing all the work done and attaches it where it can be inspected conveniently without hampering actuation; the licensee's signature certifies that the service complies with the law. A fresh service, yellow or red tag goes on every time service is performed. The tag carries the state fire marshal's do-not-remove inscription in capitals of at least 10-point bold type, the firm's name, address and telephone number and certificate number, the licensee's name, licence number and handwritten signature, the punched month and year and type of work, the service performed, the owner's or occupant's name and address, and the extinguisher type, size and location. Tags are 5-1/4 by 2-5/8 inches, not red, may be printed for any five-year period, may be adhesive labels carrying the same information, and may be removed only by an authorised employee of a registered firm, the State Fire Marshal's Office or a regulatory agency.
