NSW Food Regulation 2025
Part 10: egg food safety scheme and the Salmonella Enteritidis licence condition (sections 157 to 179, Schedule 8) – NSW Food Regulation 2025

NSW Food Regulation 2025 Sch 8 cl 4-5: Provide at every production area entrance boot scraping and daily-checked disinfectant footbaths, or clean shed boots, or single-use boot covers, plus hand washing materials or sanitiser

What does Sch 8 cl 4-5 require?

The licensee must equip each usable entrance with one of three boot hygiene options: a sole scraper for organic matter together with footbaths holding enough correctly prepared disinfectant, inspected daily and maintained so they stay effective; enough clean shed boots for everyone, worn only inside the area; or enough single-use boot covers, worn only inside. Each entrance also has soap, water and single-use paper towels, or hand sanitiser.
