NSW Food Regulation 2025 44: Display the relevant part of the licence on every licensed premises and carry it in every licensed vehicle

What does 44 require?

On each premises the licence covers, a copy of the part of the licence that relates to that premises must be on display, and each licensed vehicle must carry a copy of the part relating to it. Each is an offence with a maximum of 25 penalty units.

32 Do not carry on a dairy, meat, plant products, seafood, vulnerable persons or egg business without a current Food Authority licence covering it
33 Apply for a licence on the approved form with the 85 dollar application fee, the self-calculated licence fee and the information the Food Authority needs, and answer further information requests
37 As a licence condition, keep the licensed activities, premises and vehicles compliant with the Food Act, this regulation and the relevant Food Standards Code standards; egg primary producers also meet Schedule 8
40-41 Treat the licence as personal to the holder, and renew it by paying the notified licence fee (and any seafood levies) or the approved instalment before expiry
42 Pay licence fees and levies by the date in the Food Authority's notice (at least 42 days out), keep to any instalment approval, and expect overdue treatment of the whole balance if an instalment is missed
43 Display the Food Authority licensing label on each licensed vehicle, readable from outside, whenever it operates for the business and until the label expires
45 Where the Food Standards Code, this regulation or a licence condition requires a food safety program, make it meet both the Code and the regulation's requirements
47 Get Food Authority approval before engaging an external food safety auditor to audit the business's food safety program
