Where the day tank is kept full by transfer pumps, a backup pump driven by battery, diesel engine or hand should be considered for use when the day tank is empty and mains is lost. Fire safety and fire dump valves should be risk-assessed against the risk of starving the set: an accidental dump empties the day tank, the source of any DC supply holding the valve shut should be considered, operation of the dump valve should be monitored and alarmed, and the bulk tank should keep space for the day tank's contents. Bulk fuel may deteriorate and should be tested routinely. Leakage risk should be assessed (bunds, double-skinned pipes), and controls should stop transfer when a day tank overfills and show a visual warning at the fill point when a bulk tank overfills. Local fire, environmental and authority requirements must be met.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
