Ask the DNO for an indicative reliability factor for the primary supply to support decisions on secondary supply locations; connect generators at the intake when the earliest single point of failure sits close to the point of use, and use distributed secondary power centres when it sits close to the intake. Size the secondary supply from the risk profile: areas needing power within 15 s, items needing 0.5 s, and non-clinical services that would compromise care if not restored within 15 s; base new-build sizing on equipment ratings, power density and growth, and use at least a year of load data on existing sites. Account for the load to be picked up within 15 s of a cold start. Every generator set should be designed and rated to carry full load continuously for long periods. Where the secondary supply does not carry the full load, plan temporary connection of plant such as chillers and a load shedding scheme, and review the schedule every year as part of maintenance.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
