NHS England HTM 06-01 Electrical Services Supply and Distribution (2017 Edition) 9.76-9.80: Starting batteries and chargers kept fully charged and monitored

Most sets start electrically. Battery reliability and maintenance are critical: batteries should be kept sound and fully charged with the set running and stationary, following the battery maker's maintenance requirements. Usually a static charger and a belt-driven charge alternator are fitted; both should charge at the correct float voltage and the battery should be sized so the breakaway voltage is acceptable to the engine maker. BMS monitoring of charger alarms should be considered: charger off, temperature sensor out of range, DC voltage out of range, output short-circuit, voltage sense loss and general fault. Battery type should be chosen on risk, cost and planned maintenance, with life confirmed with the maker.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
