Generators at different points in the network should be arranged as parallel-operated sets with collective redundancy, and where areas are grade B or above, multiple sets with built-in redundancy should be used. The total time to supply (detection plus run-up under 15 s) should include synchronising enough sets to exceed the load to be supported. All sets should start on mains failure; after stabilising (normally under 5 minutes) the number on line may be adjusted. If sets are switched in and out with load, the disconnect thresholds should be defined carefully and reviewed regularly, weighing light-load running against excess capacity.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
