NABERS - National Australian Built Environment Rating System AGR-COP-4: Communicate about NABERS and its trade mark responsibly

What does AGR-COP-4 require?

Code of Practice: assessors inform customers of their responsibilities by pointing to the NABERS website and terms and conditions, promote correct use of the NABERS trade mark and pass on the brand guidelines to eligible commercial customers, give the National Administrator seven days' notice (with papers for approval) of public events where they will comment on NABERS, do not speculate on future policy beyond published wording, and do not publicly disparage the scheme. The Handbook adds that quoting a NABERS rating not backed by a certified rating or a signed Commitment Agreement breaches the trade mark.
