Clause 7: Adaptation planning – ISO 14090:2019

ISO 14090:2019 7.4.7: Document each adaptation action with objective, description, indicators and timescales

What does 7.4.7 require?

The plan documents the adaptation actions to be implemented in response to the pre-planning, the impact assessment and the plan content requirements, explaining the reasons for taking up some actions and leaving others aside, and describing the threats tied to each decision and its potential benefits where appropriate. Every documented action carries an objective, a description, its indicators and its timescales; it is recommended that each also carries a cost estimate and the benefits expected, an appraisal of what could prevent its delivery, the organisational capability it needs now and later, and any regulatory or economic instruments required.
