It is recommended to state how its adaptation policy relates to its other internal policies such as business continuity and sustainability, sector standards and codes, national policy, the legal and similar obligations it is under, adaptation plans at national, regional and local level, national adaptation communications, the country's nationally determined contribution under the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
