Only a person in the United States may apply to export from the United States, and the applicant must be the exporter (the U.S. principal party in interest), except for ELAs; in routed transactions the U.S. principal party or the foreign principal's authorised U.S. agent may apply, and for reexports the U.S. or foreign principal or its authorised agent; agents need a power of attorney or other written authorisation unless related by ownership or control (Block 7 'other', Block 24 '748.4(b)(2)'). Applicants must disclose the names and addresses of all parties and any agency relationship; persons denied export privileges after certain convictions may not apply for up to ten years; licences obtained without disclosure of material facts are void; detained or seized items must be disclosed; no application may be made for items already laden, exported or reexported, and an unlicensed shipment requires a letter of explanation to the Office of Export Enforcement; multiple shipments may be covered by reasonable estimates; no second application for the same transaction while one is pending; resubmissions cite the original control number; emergency processing may be requested.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
