Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s101: s 101 Provide a free itemised bill for services within 7 days of request

Where a consumer requests it within 30 days of the services being supplied or of receiving the bill (whichever is later), a services supplier must, within 7 days and free of charge, give a transparent itemised bill showing how the price was calculated, the hours of labour and hourly rate where applicable, and the materials used and their charges where applicable.
