Wages must be paid weekly or fortnightly (monthly only by majority agreement) by cash, cheque or electronic transfer into the employee's nominated account. On termination the employer must pay, within 7 days, the wages and all amounts due under the award and NES, subject to Commission orders and authorised deductions. Payslips must separately identify allowances (Regulations 3.33(3) and 3.46(1)(g)).
