Australia Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020 (MA000025) 18.6b: 18.6(b) Pay the motor vehicle allowance per kilometre when employees use their own vehicle by agreement

Where an employee, by agreement, uses their own motor vehicle, the employer must pay the per-kilometre motor vehicle allowance in clause 18.6(b) of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026) for: the extra distance beyond the home to workshop or depot journey when starting or finishing at a job away from the depot; the trip made when the employee is called back for overtime after having left the business; trips from the workshop or depot to a job, and from one job to another; and travel to or from distant work.
