For employees other than apprentices, the all-purpose rate is the clause 16.2 minimum plus the industry allowance (18.3(a)) and, where they apply, the tool allowance (18.3(g)), licence allowance for electricians (18.3(b)), leading hand allowance (18.3(c)), nominee allowance (18.3(d)), allowance for line maintenance and tree clearing (18.3(e)) and the ordering materials rate (18.3(f)). The weekly all-purpose rate is used for every purpose of the award, among them overtime, every kind of paid leave, leave loading, public holidays and termination payments made pro rata.
