Employees undertaking traineeships are paid the minimum wages and receive the conditions in Schedule E (national training wage) of the Miscellaneous Award 2020, which this award incorporates as it stood at 1 July 2026. References in that schedule to "this award" are read as references to this electrical contracting award. School-based apprentices are dealt with in Schedule D (16.5) and employees eligible for a supported wage in Schedule E of this award (16.6).
