Part 4: Wages and Allowances – Australia Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020 (MA000025)

Australia Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020 (MA000025) 18.6a: 18.6(a) Notify and record each employee's workshop or depot, and have them present at the job at start time

When employment starts, the employer must tell the employee the location of their workshop or depot, or of the employer's registered office, and record that location in the wages or service record; it is the reference point for all travel allowances in clause 18.6. A changed location may be notified and recorded on 14 days' notice where there are genuine operational requirements, but not to avoid travel obligations. An employee directed to a job away from the workshop or depot must present themselves at the job at the usual starting time.
