An employee trained in first aid who holds a current appropriate first aid qualification (such as a St John Ambulance or similar certificate) and whom the employer appoints to perform first aid duty must be paid the weekly first aid allowance in clause 18.4(c) of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026).
