An electrical mechanic who holds an unrestricted licence and may be required to use it in their duties must be paid the weekly licence allowance set by clause 18.3(b) of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026), as an all-purpose allowance. Apprentices receive the percentage of this allowance set by clause 16.4.
