On termination, the employer must pay the wages owed for every pay period, whole or partial, through to the close of the termination day, and must do so before the next business day ends. Any accrued RDO credit under a rostered day off system must be included in that calculation. All other amounts owing under the award or the NES must be paid within 7 days of the day employment ends. These timings are subject to any further order of the Commission and to deductions the award or the Act authorises.
