A supplier must not supply a wheeled tractor unless it has roll-over protection fitted, where the tractor was built in Victoria or brought into Victoria from 1 July 1981 onward. The rule applies to tractors that deliver power directly to the ground through wheels. It does not apply where the tractor is supplied for a workplace where it has no likelihood of overturning, where it weighs under 560 kilograms (measured in its lightest normal retail form when new, with no fuel, water or lubricating oil), or where the supplier intends it for parts or scrap.
