When supplying plant, a manufacturer must give the recipient the information the designer provided under r 81 and Act s 27(1)(c)(i) and (iii), and where the manufacturer has acted under r 85(1)(c) on a design hazard, the corresponding information the designer must give under those provisions and r 82 (r 86). A manufacturer must also keep a record of every published technical standard, or part of one, used to make the plant, together with all plant information the designer gave it under this Part or the Act, and keep these available for the Authority to inspect for 7 years after the plant's date of manufacture (r 87). Breach of r 87 carries up to 60 penalty units (natural person) or 300 (body corporate).
