A designer who includes an emergency warning device on plant must ensure the design locates it where it will work to best effect. Where powered mobile plant is likely to collide with other powered mobile plant or with pedestrians, the designer must include in the design a warning device that alerts anyone who may be endangered by the plant's movement. Each of these is an offence carrying up to 100 penalty units (natural person) or 500 (body corporate).
