For section 35(1) of the Act, every mine operator must consult on developing and implementing alcohol, drug and fatigue strategies under rr 409 and 410, and on identifying mining hazards under r 404. At a prescribed mine the operator must also consult on implementing the safety management system, conducting a safety assessment, developing the employee safety role under r 424, preparing an emergency plan, and reviewing and revising that plan.
