Every mine operator must devise and put in place strategies to control risks arising from employee fatigue. Those strategies must include work arrangements that, as far as reasonably practicable, eliminate employee fatigue, through the way work is arranged. Employees and HSRs must be consulted on these strategies under r 439, and employees trained in them under r 441.
