Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r398: r 398 Employee duties at a major hazard facility

An employee at an MHF must: follow the operator's procedures for preventing and controlling major incidents; follow the emergency procedures when a major incident occurs or the procedures are activated; tell the operator at once of any circumstance they think could lead to a major incident; take corrective action under the prevention, control and emergency procedures, without putting themselves or anyone else at risk, even if it could interrupt the facility's operation; and notify their supervisor of any corrective action taken.
