Where the Authority issues a written notice requiring an operator, or a person who intends to become an operator, to provide information about how a facility operates, the recipient must supply that information as the notice specifies, including by the stated date. The notice will name the information sought and the deadline. Section 154 of the Act allows a natural person to decline if the answer might tend to incriminate them. Failure carries a penalty of up to 100 penalty units for an individual and 500 for a body corporate.
