Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r368: r 368 Identify major incidents and major incident hazards

The operator of an MHF must identify every major incident hazard, and every major incident possible at the facility. All aspects of that identification must be documented, including the methods and criteria used and the conditions under which the hazards could lead to a major incident. The note to r 368 explains that such conditions include internal matters, such as not maintaining or replacing ageing plant and infrastructure or not keeping critical staffing levels, and external ones, such as wildfires, floods and other extreme weather, activities at neighbouring sites, and security of the facility.
