The operator of an MHF must give its employees information, instruction and training about: the kinds of major incident that could occur; all major incident hazards; how the controls adopted under r 371 are implemented; the content and operation of the SMS; the emergency plan; and the safety role developed under r 380. The operator must monitor and review this training and revise it where needed so it stays relevant and effective.
