Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r378: r 378 Activate the emergency plan and notify emergency services when a major incident occurs

An MHF operator who has prepared an emergency plan must put it into effect at once if a major incident happens, or if something goes out of control in a way that could reasonably be expected to escalate to a major incident. Immediately on learning of a major incident, the operator must notify the emergency services responsible for the area where the facility is located.
